Press Release

Keller Lenkner UK continues growth with investment fraud group launch

Keller Lenkner UK (now KP Law) has appointed fraud specialist Mark Kenkre who joins the practice to lead its investment fraud and mis-selling group.

Joining the firm in March from Trowers & Hamlins, Kenkre offers 20 years’ experience in investigating complex, multi-party fraud with extensive expertise in recovering assets both nationally and internationally.

Andrew Nugent Smith, managing director at Keller Lenkner UK, said: “Mark brings a wealth of investment fraud and mis-selling expertise to the practice with an impressive portfolio of multi-party actions against fraudsters and professional advisors who have failed to adequately protect consumers. Keller Lenkner UK is committed to protecting consumer rights and we are pleased to now offer clients this expertise to maximise their prospects of redress.”

The appointment follows the addition of a data breach and cybercrime team led by Kingsley Hayes in September 2020.

Mark Kenkre, head of investment fraud and mis-selling at Keller Lenkner UK, said: “I am delighted to join the team at Keller Lenkner UK and look forward to continuing to deliver excellent client service with them. We will do that by holding to account those individuals and organisations who fail to adequately protect consumers.”

Founded in 2019, Keller Lenkner UK currently has offices in Chancery Lane in London and in Liverpool with a headcount of 40 and growing.

The firm is working with the App Drivers & Couriers Union (ADCU), and is representing around 9,000 Uber drivers, with claims submitted in both the Employment Tribunal and the High Court, following the landmark Supreme Court ruling in February recognising them as workers.

Keller Lenkner UK is actively pursuing emissions claims against Mercedes-Benz, Vauxhall and the Volkswagen Group.

Its data breach and cybercrime experts are pursuing a number of multi-party actions against national and international organisations including British Airways, Equifax and Marriott International.
