As the BBC have reported, studies have proven that talcum powder contained asbestos that could have caused ovarian, mesothelioma, fallopian tube and peritoneal cancer.

Johnson & Johnson continued to sell its talcum powder for years despite knowing since the 1970’s of its potential cancer risks. They only stopped selling it in the UK in 2023.
