Football Head Injuries Claim

KP Law is supporting former football players and families in legal proceedings concerning serious neurological injuries sustained during their football careers.

The claim focuses on the responsibilities of football’s governing bodies to protect players from the risks associated with repeated head impacts from heading the ball during matches and training.

The proceedings involve claims against the Football Association (FA), the English Football League and the Football Association of Wales. The claimants allege that the governing bodies knew, or should have known, about the potential long-term consequences of repeated impacts to the head but failed to take adequate steps to protect players or properly communicate the risks.

About the claim

Our clients, through the cumulative effects of repeated head impacts, suffered serious psychological injuries. It is our stance that the measures taken by football authorities to address the risks were insufficient. The dangers of repeated heading and other blows to the head should have been recognised and addressed through appropriate precautions and warnings to players.
