KP Law is representing thousands of individuals who have developed cancer following prolonged use of Johnson & Johnson talc-based products. Our product liability team, led by Tom Longstaff, is dedicated to securing justice for all those affected.

On 10 June 2026, the High Court approved the Group Litigation Order and appointed KP Law as Lead Solicitors for the group action.

What is a Group Litigation Order?

A Group Litigation Order (GLO) is a case management procedure used by the High Court where multiple claims involve common issues of fact or law. This means, rather than progressing each claim separately, the Court can manage the shared issues together – helping to ensure the litigation is conducted efficiently and consistently. KP Law believes this to be particularly important in this litigation, due to the severity of the matter and the life-limiting illnesses faced by many of our clients.

Who may be eligible to join the litigation?

If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with pleural or peritoneal mesothelioma, high-grade serous cancer of the ovaries, the fallopian tubes, or peritoneum, and used Johnson & Johnson Baby Powder regularly for five or more years, you may be able to join the claim. As of June 2026, KP Law has been approached by over 7,000 people who have either been diagnosed with one of these illnesses themselves or are representing a loved one who has passed away.

If you believe you have been affected, we would urge you to contact us as soon as possible as delay may impact your ability to join the claim. The court has imposed a deadline for the commencement of claims on behalf of new Claimants issuing claims which is 18 January 2027.

Our dedicated team is available to discuss any questions or concerns you may have.

In February 2024, our firm changed its name from Keller Postman UK to KP Law.
